40% of the food in America is Wasted. A new documentary by Anthony Bourdain, WASTED: The Story of Food Waste aims to change the way people buy, cook, recycle, and eat food. Through the eyes of chef-heroes like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, WASTED! exposes the criminality of food waste and shows us how each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to make the most of every kind of food. WASTED! is opening in select theaters across the US and available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and On Demand starting October 13th. Learn more at at www.wastedfilm.com

On the first Sunday of winter months, the National Museum of Wildlife Art organizes a family-friendly day with special programs and events connected to the exhibitions on view. On the first Sunday of every month year-round, the Museum is free for all Jackson Hole residents.
This month, we celebrate our newest exhibition, TINY: Charismatic Minifauna from the Permanent Collection. Move over bison and wolves, this exhibit is dedicated to the smaller critters in the natural world - insects, rodents, lizards, and spiders, to name a few.
