Throughout his time at Hole Food Rescue, Iván has worked directly with community members to build community-led food access programs. • Beth's eyes were opened to the substantial food insecurity crisis across America through the company she and her husband co-founded, PurFoods/Mom’s Meals. PurFoods focused on reducing Hunger Insecurity among Medicaid seniors and patients, and also, helping patients recuperate at home after a hospital stay. Beth remains driven by this mission, and her initial volunteer position upon moving to Jackson was with Hole Food Rescue.

Beth has worked in the healthcare and nutrition industries for over 35 years, primarily at Johnson & Johnson and at PurFoods, a start-up that grew into a mid-size, national company. At J&J, she led Women's Health, Worldwide Oral Health, and strategic marketing for Biopharmaceuticals and several consumer businesses. At PurFoods, Beth worked to create custom nutrition solutions to best serve the customers with care and dignity. Beth and her husband have since gone on to found several other start-ups.

Food insecurity, especially for children, is a huge concern of Wendy’s. As a retired Ob/Gyn, Wendy has seen the impact of food insecurity and lack of healthy food access on young families and communities. She moved to Wilson in the summer of 2019 and saw a flier for Hole Food Rescue that caught her eye. Salvaging healthy food that would otherwise go to waste and getting it to those possibly experiencing food insecurity, seemed like a worthy cause to her. Learning about the enormous scope of food waste was eye-opening! After getting settled and sending her children off to college, Wendy started volunteering for HFR in a variety of capacities. She has rescued food from multiple food donors, sorted food at the HFR Hub and is currently delivering weekend food bags to the community.

When not rescuing food, you'll find her enjoying all that Jackson has to offer; hiking, running, skiing, cooking and teaching yoga. (Before moving to Wilson, she opened and ran a yoga studio in a small town in Kansas.) The mission of HFR attracted Wendy to the organization, and the positive, motivated people of HFR has kept her rescuing food and having fun!

  • Board Chair

Lisa has been a volunteer with Hole Food Rescue since 2017. Since then, she has embraced several roles within the organization. In 2020, she stepped in as interim Executive Director and helped guide HFR through a transitional period after the pandemic. Lisa has also planned and coordinated the Million Pound Party over the past five years. To date, Lisa considers her most fulfilling role volunteering at Jackson Hole Senior Center’s FFC program and spending time in the food room with other equally passionate volunteers. She feels inspired working alongside others who share an affection for the community's well-being.

In her past life, Lisa spent 20 years in the fashion industry as a retail buyer for a major department store. She left her first love, New York City, in 2017 and found a new love and home in Jackson.

  • When Lori found out about Hole Food Rescue, it was one of those "You had me at hello!" moments. Lori has been a weekly HFR volunteer since 2013, picking up donations from assorted donors in addition to training up new volunteers. She has been part of the growth of HFR and this is her passion.

Lori worked as an associate producer and director for ESPN before finding herself in Jackson, WY in 2001. Her professional experience ranges from producing and directing to reporting and filming.

Lori has focused her attention on documentary style work for private clients and local non-profits through her company Whole Story Productions. She has produced HFR’s training, educational and Capital Campaign videos and has been a contributor to several JenTen Productions, TCSAR and the Fine Line.. Her work is a four-time recipient of the Telly Award, and she has projects included in the Smithsonian Archives and the Vail Ski Museum.

She is also a fitness fanatic and has taught classes all over the valley.

  • A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Annie found her true home in Jackson Hole in 1999. Since her tenure in the Tetons began, Annie has been actively engaged in the nonprofit realm as a consultant, volunteer, and facilitator of charitable giving. Annie is the Director of Grants & Nonprofit Outreach at the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and a volunteer Advocate with Community Safety Network. She has exercised her passion for waste stream management on the Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling Advisory Board and as a co-founder of Jackson Hole's Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Campaign. It was this interest and our community’s compounded food insecurity issues during covid that landed Annie on HFR’s doorstep.

  • Treasurer

Ian has made many great memories since he started volunteering with Hole Food Rescue in 2015. Among them, flash mobbing a Million Pound Party dressed as a banana with a bunch of other wild volunteers, and rescuing tens of thousands of pounds of food from Lucky’s dumpsters. Having a good time while helping fulfill the HFR mission speaks to him. For the past 16 years Ian has actively worked in investment management, moving his business from New York to Jackson in 2014. His focus is now on investing in positively impactful businesses while enjoying everything Jackson Hole has to offer with his family.
